With the 2010 racing season just getting started, Nan’s Fly V Australia Pro Cycling Team is off to a great start with over 15 victories, including wins at the Tour of Singapore and the San Dimas Stage Race.
The team is currently defending the overall lead at this weekend’s Redlands Cycling Classic. Australian Ben Day won the opening prologue time trail and maintains a slim one-second lead over the field of top professional riders. Today’s stage is a short but fast 90-minute criterium that should not shake up the overall. Look for fireworks to happen on the final stage on the long and very technical “Sunset Loop”.
No matter the outcome, the team is using the race as preparation for one of the world’s most prestigious races, the Amgen Tour of California. By that time the team will have had plenty of whey protein and multi-vitamins to challenge the likes of Lance Armstrong. Stay tuned!
